Bluffton student to share summer research trials and successes
Sarah Oliver ‘19, a biology major from Lexington, Ohio, will present “The Summer I Became a Duck Mom,” during an 11 a.m. Forum on Tuesday, Oct. 3, in Bluffton University’s Musselman Library.
During the summer of 2017, Oliver attempted to hatch ducklings outside of their eggshells. The developmental biology project was designed to give her a better understanding of embryonic development. Oliver was awarded a Venture Discovery Grant to pursue the research with Bluffton faculty providing feedback and support for the student-led experience.
