Oct. 29 concert at English Lutheran marks 500th anniversary of Protestant Reformation
Full Sound Chamber Group will perform in concert at 7 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 29, at the English Lutheran Church, 111 Grove St., Bluffton, according to Rev. Kevin Mohr, pastor.
The concert marks the 500th anniversary of the start of the Protestant Reformation in 1517.
The Full Sound Chamber Group consists of five brothers forming a string quintet of two violins, a viola, cello, and double-bass, performing in the central Ohio area.
They have researched, arranged, produced, and played concert since 2010. Their repertoire consists mainly of Baroque, Classical, Romantic music, and hymns. This concert will feature some music by Lutheran Baroque and Classical musicians.
Parking and the main accessible entrance is off of Jackson Street. A free-will offering will be collected. Prior to the concert a light reception of cookies and beverage will be offered.
