Skyler Noble, a 2015 Bluffton High School graduate, was one of four new deputies sworn in as members of the Allen County Sheriff’s Department. The event was Nov. 15.
In addition to Noble, other deputies sworn in were Ryan Bullinger, Alan Ogle and Evan Thomas. Matt Treglia, Allen County sheriff, sworn in the four.
Sheriff Treglia says that the hiring process for sheriff deputies is different from the past. It now includes psychological tests, polygraph tests and a physical fitness evaluation.
Noble graduated in September from Rhodes State College police academy, Lima. He is the son of Pam Marsh and Bitler Noble and is engaged to Makayla Smith, also a 2015 BHS graduate.
