Here's a good problem - where to eat during the Blaze
Saturday's 31st annual Blaze of Lights offers several opportunities to "eat locally" according to the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce. Here's a lists of businesses offering food:
Bluffton Lions Club Foundation: Chicken barbecue, 4-7 p.m. Drive up behind the Dollar Store parking lot. Eat in at tables on the lower level of Bluffton Presbyterian Church. See a Lions member for tickets or call Greg Denecker at 419-358-5901.
Bluffton Senior Center: Peanut brittle made at the center. Soup, sandwiches, and homemade pies from 4-7 p.m.
The Dough Hook: 8 a.m.-noon, 4 p.m.-after lighting. Hot chocolate and coffee, cinnamon rolls, sticky buns, cookies, etc.
The Food Store: Jonah Agner's homemade soup and bread from 5-7 p.m.
Jeanne’s Kitchen: Chili sausage peppers and onions, sloppy joes, hot dogs from 4-7 p.m.
Luke’s: Open 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Live acoustic music by Donley, 7-10 p.m. Weekend dinner Special: Pork Belly Po' Boy with sweet potato fries.
Shirley's Gourmet Popcorn Co.: December flavors of the month: White Chocolate Peppermint and Dark Chocolate Peppermint. Free samples all day long.
Southgate Lanes: Noon-midnight, open bowling, five beers on tap, 35 beers in all.
Twisted Whisk: 7 a.m.-9 p.m., hot dogs and shredded chicken, hot chocolate bar, decorate your own sugar cookies, regular drink menu.
