Tristan Smucker, BHS senior, named to all-state soccer team
Bluffton High School senior Tristan Smucker was named second team All-Ohio in voting compiled recently by the Ohio Soccer Scholastic Coaches Association.
Smucker was a team leader on Bluffton’s boys soccer team that made back to back trips to the OHSAA regional tournament.
Here are some of Smucker's stats:
2014 – Freshman year – came off the bench as a center mid –
2015 – 13 goals, 2 assists – played as a target player (striker)
2016 – 11 goals, 4 assists – played as a target player (striker)
2017 – 11 goals, 2 assists – played as a center midfielder
Smucker joins past Pirate soccer players that have been named All State:
