Bike and Pedestrian Task Force recognizes volunteers
The Allen County Bike and Pedestrian Task Force will hold its annual Volunteer Recognition and Awards Program on Thursday, Nov. 30, at The Met in Lima, 306 North Main St. from 5 – 7 p.m.
Volunteers will be recognized for their contribution to assisting with bike and pedestrian counts, bike rodeos, and their work towards supporting a bike and pedestrian friendly community.
Recognition will be given for the Advocate of the Year, Business of the Year, and for other volunteers.
Last year CG Pro Bike owners Raymond and Liz Harner of Bluffton received the business of the year award.
Anyone interested in joining the Allen County Bike and Pedestrian Task Force can contact Monica Harnish at Allen County Public Health, 419-228-4457.
