Visitation for Pauline Klingler today (Dec. 27)
A. Pauline Klingler, 90, died Dec. 23, 2017, at the Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton. Pauline was born July 14, 1927, in Gilboa to the late Thomas and Ida (Lowden) Pollock. On Nov. 3, 1946, she married A. Roy Klingler who preceded her in death on April 20, 2000.
Pauline graduated from Blanchard Township High School near Gilboa. She was a homemaker and member of Ebenezer Mennonite Church and Gilboa United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Julie Herr of Bluffton; three granddaughters, Annette (John) Witherspoon of Worthington, Ohio, Christine Gesler of Bluffton, Ellen (Daniel) Gilfillen of Bluffton; a grandson, Daniel (Barbie Bradley) Herr of Elida; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pauline was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Gary Herr.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 28, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services in Bluffton. Pastor Jim King and Kathy Brauen officiating. Burial will be in Lafayette Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Gilboa United Methodist Church, Ebenezer Mennonite Church or Mennonite Memorial Home.
