Barbara Mikesell operated Cottage Gift Haus
Barbara Ann Mikesell, 65, died Jan. 2, 2018, at Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton.
Barbara was born Nov. 18, 1952, in Lima, Ohio to the late John and Dorothy (Cox) Skelly. On Feb. 21, 1971, she married Kenneth Mikesell who preceded her in death on Dec. 10, 2006.
Barb graduated from Bluffton High School. Along with her mother, she operated the Cottage Gift Haus in Bluffton.
Survivors include a son, Heath (Nichole) Mikesell of Bluffton; a daughter, Heather (Jason) Rutan of Springfield, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Jessica Brockert, Cobie Mikesell, Levi Mikesell, Charles Wright, Nayana Ward, Claire Rutan, Jackson Rutan and a brother, John R. (Bobbi) Skelly of Ironton, Ohio.
Barb was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Reece Mikesell.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 6, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services in Bluffton. Pastor Michael Downey officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Beaverdam. Visitation will be Friday from 5 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Alzheimer's Association.
