Rowe named HCAC Player of the Week

BLUFFTON, Ohio - Kaycee rowe (Harrod/Allen East) has been named the Heartland Conference Player of the Week after leading the Beavers to a pair of conference wins. It marks the second time Rowe has been named HCAC Player of the Week this year for Bluffton and fourth honor for Bluffton this season following Macey Sheerer (Bucyrus) who has also notched two Player of the Week awards!
Rowe put up a pair of double-doubles in Bluffton's wins over Earlham and Hanover last week. The senior averaged 15.5 points per game and 11.5 rebounds per game while connecting on 10-of-17 (58.8 percent) from the field. Rowe was 11-of-13 (84.6 percent) at the stripe, including a pair with 20 seconds left against Hanover that proved to be the difference.
The versatile senior is second in the Heartland Conference with 15.0 PPG and 8.8 RPG. She is currently tied for 6th all-time at Bluffton with 1,059 points and her 577 career boards are 8th all-time.
The Bluffton women (14-5, 9-3 HCAC) will travel to Mount St. Joseph on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., before hosting HCAC front-runner Rose-Hulman on Saturday at approximately 3 p.m.
