A child is lost, and it’s getting dark.
At 6 p.m. on Friday, a helicopter hovers overhead. Many rescue and law enforcement are on hand looking for the child.
There are boats and scuba gear in case he is found in or near one of the many farm ponds that dot the territory.
Neighbors join in the search. ATVs prowl the countryside. Residents, even two miles away, have been notified to be on the watch.
Hardin County Sheriff's is currently searching the area of 0726 TR 55 near Ada for a 13-year-old autistic male missing from the residence since approximately 3:30 pm.
The youth is described as being of Philippine decent, 5’10”, weighing 150 pounds, short dark hair.
He was last seen wearing a faded blue t-shirt, sweatpants, and no shoes. If you have information about his whereabouts, please contact 419-673-1168 option 0.
The search area is two miles east and three miles north of Ada.
