It's a evening of ragtime and blues Tuesday in the town hall
Local ragtime and blues guitarist Matt Keeler will perform at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 27, in the Bluffton Town Hall Concert Series.
Keeler has t1- years experience teaching music in the Catholic schools of Putnam County. He has taught private guitar and saxophone lessons for nearly 20 years.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in music education from Bluffton University (’99) and a master's degree in musicology (ethnomusicology) from Bowling Green State University (’05).
As a performer, Matt specializes in traditional country blues and ragtime guitar styles, but he also plays numerous folk instruments, including Irish tenor banjo, mandolin, bagpipes, and hurdy gurdy.
His band, Blues Reveler, performs regularly at seasonal festivals and special events, and can be found on Facebook.
