Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center on 100 Top Hospital list
Mercy Health announces that the IBM Watson Health 100 Top Hospitals annual awards program has named St. Rita’s Medical Center as among the highest performing hospitals in the nation.
In addition to being listed among the top large community hospitals, St. Rita’s was also named as an Everest Award winner, which is an honor given to hospitals that have achieved both the highest current performance and the fastest long-term improvement over five years.
The hospital study spotlights the top-performing hospitals in the U.S. based on a balanced scorecard of publicly available clinical, operational and patient satisfaction metrics and data. The annual hospital study began in 1993.
“Earning a place on the 100 Top Hospitals list is a tribute to our St. Rita’s team, which works to ensure our patients receive the highest quality of care each and every day,” said Dale Gisi, Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center president. “Combining quality and compassion is what St. Rita’s has been known for over our 100-year history and is our promise to our community in the years to come.”
