Grove pharmacy merges with Riley Creek Pharmacy, Pandora
Hawkey’s Pharmacy of Columbus Grove, will merge with Riley Creek Pharmacy, Pandora, later this month.
The pharmacy at 114 N. High St., has served the Columbus Grove community for 70 years.
An announcement on Facebook by Hawkey’s owner and pharmacist, Ed Cassidy, explains the process:
“Due to recent changes, we feel this is the best way to serve the people of Columbus Grove.”
He continued: “Both Joy (pharmacy technician) and I will become part of the Riley Creek Pharmacy team and your prescription services will continue to be provided by caring professionals with small town pharmacy values.”
On Saturday, April 21, Hawkey’s will transfer all prescription files to Riley Creek Pharmacy. On Monday, April 23, is an open house for Hawkeye customers at Riley Creek Pharmacy in Pandora.
“This will be a seamless transition with nothing needed to be done on our customers part,” he said.
“Riley Creek is the closest pharmacy with convenient, angle in-front parking. It is a small town pharmacy with a friendly, caring and knowledgeable staff. We are excited to become a part of this team and look forward to serving you for many years to come.”
Riley Creek Pharmacy, 112 E. Main St., Pandora, is a Health Mart pharmacy.
It is open Mondays to Fridays, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Its phone number is 419-384-3303
