Amanda Speicher, March BHS student of the month
Amanda Speicher, a Bluffton High School junior, is the March BHS student of the month.
She is in the high school orchestra, symphonic choir, Latin Club, Lima Area Youth Orchestra, and is a member and captain of the Bluffton High School flag corp. She volunteers as an aide in the second grade classroom, and also teaches violin and swimming lessons.
She received an academic award for "Student of the Year" in Latin I and Biology.
In her spare time she enjoys playing the violin. Amanda is on the Bluffton swim team and is also employed as a life guard at the Bluffton pool and at "Scoreboard."
After graduation she would like to study music education. She maintains a 4.0 grade point average and is the daughter of Steve and Susan Speicher of Bluffton.
