Bluffton High School varsity coach Jeff Richards put together the inaugural alumni football game Friday night.
Twenty-three former ball players took the field with graduates ranging from 1976 to 2017. In the end, White defeated Red by a 45-42 score. The game was well attended and proceeds were raised to start a youth flag football program which will be directed by Richards.
The game was played with a 30 minute running clock for two halves. The game was played on a 50-yard field with first downs to be had at the the 30 and 10 yard line markers.
With 87 points on the board, many great plays were made. All fans were happy to see all players leave the field in good standing.
