Softball: It's Bluffton 8 Lima Bath 2

The Lady Pirate softball team is warming up just like the weather. Bluffton defeated perennial power Lima Bath Friday evening by an 8-2 score.
Averey Rumer had a big night with two hits, two stolen bases and three runs. Mara Minnig had two hits of her own with an RBI. Libby Schaadt and Katie Prater both belted doubles. Kayla White, Bailey Edwards and Laykin Garmatter pounded out hits as well.
Schaadt limited the Wildkittens to three hits on the night and struck out 14 batters.
Bluffton has now won nine straight contests and is 15-4 on the year. Bath fell to 13-7 with the loss.
