Manford Robinson's 90th birthday celebration May 27
Manford E. Robinson will celebrate his 90th birthday with an open house from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, May 27, at Community Bible Church, Arlington.
In addition, friends are invited to participate in a card show by sending cards to his home at 9565 N. Dixie Highway, Bluffton. The family requests that no gifts be give at the birthday open house.
Manford was born May 30, 1928, in Marshall Ill, to Manford and Sadie Robinson. On Oct. 2, 1949, he married Alice E. Hittle, who died Nov. 25, 1975. He married Patsy Shreve on April 3, 1976, who died Sept. 20, 2012. He is presently married to Betty (Deck), who he married on June 15, 2013.
Manford had three children, Kay Schafer of Traverse City, Mich., Thomas Robinson of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Beth Boehr of Bluffton. He has seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
He is a member of Community Bible Church, Arlington. He has been involved with the Gideon ministry for over 40 years. He was self-employed at MAR Vending for over 50 years, where he serviced and sold vending machines across Ohio.
