ONU HealthWise Pharmacy holds health carnival Saturday
The Ohio Northern University HealthWise Pharmacy will host a community health carnival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 9. The pharmacy is located in the Robertson-Evans Pharmacy Building at ONU, located at 511 W. Lincoln Ave. in Ada.
The event will allow individuals to learn about their health, play games and win prizes. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
Information will be offered on health topics such as high blood pressure, diabetes, sun safety, drug abuse/addiction, immunizations and plans to quit smoking. Further, medication reviews will be offered.
The pharmacy is open to the public and accepts most prescription insurance plans. The facility is a full-service community pharmacy with a focus on comprehensive personal care, including the sale of over-the-counter medications. It is an extension of the preventive and disease-management services offered by ONU HealthWise.
The ONU HealthWise Pharmacy can be contacted at 419-772-3784 (DRUG) or [email protected].
