Evelyn Kay Treen was a former Bluffton hairdresser
Evelyn Kay Treen, 72, of Bluffton, died at 9:06 a.m., Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Mercy-St. Rita’s Medical Center. She was born Sept. 21, 1945, in Lima, to Raymond G. and Dolores Dorothy “Dee” (Daniels) Ribley who preceded her in death. She was previously married to Carl R. Treen who survives.
Also surviving are two children: Earl (Tammy) Treen of Spencerville and Michelle (Tony) Edgington of Bluffton; five grandchildren: Tia Treen, Tyler Treen, Cheyenne Treen, Tayler Edgington and Kayla (Billy) DeWitt; three step grandchildren: Steve Sharp, Levi (Amanda) Sharp and Dalton Sharp; and two-step great-grandchildren: Marlena and Roman Sharp.
Two stepbrothers, Raymond Daniels and Robert Daniels, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Treen had been a hairdresser most of her life. She enjoyed playing BINGO with her mother and aunts and enjoyed gathering at the picnic table at her residence. Mostly, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 18, from 2-4, and 6-8 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral, where a service will begin at 8 p.m., Wednesday.
