Police arrest two for felony possession of a controlled substance and other drug charges
Bluffton police provided its October docket to the Icon and it follows:
October 3
Officers responded to the high school in reference to an unruly juvenile.
October 6
Officers responded to the 200 block of North Jackson Street in reference to a domestic dispute.
October 9
Officers responded to the 200 block of East Elm Street in reference to an unruly juvenile.
October 11
Officers responded to the 200 block of South Main Street in reference to a domestic dispute.
Officers responded to the Buckeye Park in reference to a theft complaint.
October 13
Officers responded to the 100 block of East College Avenue in reference to a stolen motor vehicle complaint.
October 15
Officers received a report of counterfeit money being passed to a Cherry Street business.
Officers took a civil complaint report from an East College Avenue resident.
Officers took a Criminal Damaging report from an employee at a State Route 103 business.
October 16
Officers arrested Jeffery A. Carter, 35, Ada, on an outstanding warrant out of the Findlay Police Department.
Officers arrested Kristi J. Thaxton, 40, Lafayette, for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the area of State Route 103 and Citizens Parkway for a registration violation. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.
Officers arrested Raschun Q. Smith, 25, Lima, for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the area of Snider Road and North Main Street for a speeding violation. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
October 18
Officers took a complaint of a bad check from a County Line Road resident.
October 19
Officers arrested Shelly A. Faust, 46, Findlay, on an outstanding warrant out of the Findlay Police Department.
October 20
Officers arrested Kurtis R. Badertscher, 53, Bluffton, for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the area of State Route 103 and County Line Road for an equipment violation. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.
Officers arrested a Bluffton resident for possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the area of State Route 103 and County Line Road. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.
October 21
Officers arrested Rayjon E.R. Wynter, 18, Indianapolis, Indiana, for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the 100 block of Kibler Street for a speeding violation. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
October 22
Officers responded to the university in reference to a telecommunications harassment complaint.
October 24
Officers arrested Robert M. Rife, 29, Springfield, for having physical control of a motor vehicle after officers observed the vehicle to appear to be in distress on the entrance ramp to Interstate 75 southbound at State Route 103. After investigating, two males were arrested and booked into the Hancock County Justice Center for felony possession of a controlled substance and other drug charges.
October 25
Officers responded to a North Dixie Highway business in reference to an assault. Officers requested canine assistance to perform a track of the assault suspect.
October 26
Officers responded to the university in reference to a private property hit/skip crash.
October 29
Officers arrested two Bluffton residents for possession of a controlled substace following a traffic stop in the area of State Route 103 and Citizens Parkway for an equipment violation. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.
October 30
Officers received a fraud complaint from a Shannon Street resident.
October 31
Officers arrested Noah D. Fraze, 18, Hebron, Indiana, for OVI following a traffic stop in the Jefferson Street and Thurman Street for an equipment violation. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
