Adam Duncan player of the week on special teams
Junior kicker Adam Duncan (Northwood/Lake) led the Beavers special teams' effort in a 28-24 loss at Franklin and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Football Player of the Week on special teams for his work on Saturday. It marked his second HCAC Player of the Week honor following his work on September 8 when Duncan scored all 13 points in Bluffton's 34-13 loss at No. 19 Trine.
Duncan kicked a field goal and went 3-for-3 on extra points in the matchup. The junior punted five times for 205 yards (41.0 average) with two downed inside the 20-yard line. Duncan also caught five passes for 25 yards in the loss.
The Bluffton University football team (2-7, 2-5 HCAC) will host rival Defiance College on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 1:30 p.m.
