New at the Library
With the weather cooling and the holiday season quickly approaching, the Bluffton Public Library becomes a destination stop for community members looking for something to enjoy on quiet nights in or long car trips.
One of the more popular questions the library staff receive is where the new items are located. Every month, the library adds new materials to the collection from books to magazines, audiobooks to movies - even music! The new items have a set home in the library (around the fireplace for the adults and teens, in the display shelving for the kids), but we also have a great online catalog which can be used to find the best new things.
The catalog can be accessed at home or in the library from the library’s website: www.blufftonpubliclibrary.org. Using the catalog, you can search for a favorite author, a specific book, or a beloved film. If you are unsure of what you’d like and want to see what’s new and upcoming, try following the steps in the attachment provided or visit the library and ask one of the staff for assistance - we love helping people find what they need!
As always, if the library does not personally own a copy of the item you are seeking, we have access to other libraries collections through our library consortium and can request the item be delivered here. You can also place a hold on the item once you’ve found it or see if the item is available in our extensive digital library of eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, and streaming video.
