Girls' basketball: Pirates double the score on Hornets

Bluffton High School girls' basketball team launched the 2018-19 season with a roar, doubling the score on Cory-Rawson 62-31.
Averey Rumer and Olivia Koenig each scored 19 for the Pirates.
Bluffton started the first quarter leading 16 to 4. They extended it to 31 to 18 at the half. After three BHS led 50 to 29.
Bluffton entertains Arlington on Saturday in the tip-off tourney championship. Arllngton defeated Allen East 44-34. Watch the Icon for additional game details.
