Christmas Festival forum Dec. 4
The Bluffton University music department will present “Christmas Festival” during Forum at 11 a.m. on Dec. 4, in Yoder Recital Hall.
Students will perform compositions that prepare hearts and minds for the Christmas season. This concert will feature Bluffton’s Camerata Singers, University Chorale, Woodwind Ensemble and Low Brass Ensemble.
Under the direction of Dr. Bo Young Kang, Camerata Singers will perform “Carol of the Bells,” ”The Very Best Time of Year” and “Do You Hear What I Hear.”
Bluffton’s Woodwind Ensemble, directed by Dr. Andrew Liebermann, will play four pieces ranging from “Silent Night” to “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas.”
The Low Brass Ensemble will entertain with traditional and sacred tunes such as “Angels We Have Heard on High” and “God Rest You Merry Gentlemen.”
The event is free and open to the public.
