Luke Denecker is the Bluffton High School December student of the month.

He is the junior class vice president, is a member of the Student Senate, Latin Club and the National Honor Society. He is a member of the Allen Lima Leadership team and is in Ocean Focus. He attends St Mary's Catholic Church and is in its youth group, 

He has received multiple Student of the Year awards throughout high school including Science 9, Latin I, Geometry, Algebra II, World History, Health, and English 9 and 10.

Luke plays basketball for the Bluffton Pirates. During his freshman year he was named to the First Team to the All NWC and First Team to the McDonald Holiday Tournament. 

Luke has a 4.000 grade point average. He is the son of Greg and Chris Denecker.
