Howard Beach was retired from Triplett Corp
Howard J. Beach, 90, of Jenera, died on Monday evening, Dec. 17, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Jenera on Dec. 5, 1928, to the late Phillip and Bertha (Bigenho) Beach.
On May 2, 1954 he married Dorothy Rausch and she survives along with four children: David (Shirley) Beach of Tampa, Florida; Jane (Ed) Amstutz of Bluffton; Wayne (Rinda) Beach of Wapakoneta; and Ed Beach of Lakeland, Florida.
Mr. Beach is also survived by eight grandchildren: Jacob Amstutz, Keri McCreary, Alex Beach, Joe Amstutz, Kayla Beach, Krista South, Andy Beach, and Ashley Beach; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Muriel McClain.
He retired from Triplett in Bluffton and also worked at the Hancock County Justice Center. He was a lifelong member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera. Howard enjoyed gardening, square dancing, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Visitation will be held from 4 - 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 21, at Crates Funeral Home, Arlington. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Jenera, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Rev. Alois Schmitzer III and Rev. Matthew Nowak will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Online condolences can be expressed to the family by visiting www.cratesfuneralhome.com.
