Here's results of BHS powerlifters at Wheeler Memorial Powerlifting competition
Bluffton High School powerlifters recently competed in the Eric Wheeler Memorial Powerlifting competition.
This was a push/pull meet, meaning each competitor competed in benchpress and deadlift.
Here's Bluffton participant result:
• Morgan Nusbaum - 240 deadlift, 130 benchpress - 370 total pounds
• Elizabeth Swisher - 170 deadlift, 55 benchpress - 250 total pounds
• Elizabeth Bourassa - 205 deadlift, 105 benchpress - 310 total pounds
• Kayla VanAtta - 230 deadlift, 85 benchpress - 315 pounds
• Shyanne Mortimer - 290 deadlift, 140 benchpress - 430 total pounds
• Nebraska Montgomery - 150 deadlift, 70 benchpress - 220 total pounds
This was the first time Nebraska competed.
So far this season, Bluffton competitors were at meets at Madison Plains HS and Northeastern HS.

Jan. 19 - Kenton Ridge High School
Feb. 2 - Kenton High School
Feb. 9 - Tri-Village HS
Feb. 16 - Shawnee HS
Feb. 23 - Bradford HS
March 9 - State meet, Division I-4 at Kenton HS
March 16 - State meet, Division s5-7 at Kenton HS
