Mennonite Home Health & Senior Services announces partnership
Mennonite Home Health & Senior Services, Bluffton, has announced a partnership with Senior Options, a non-profit subsidiary of Westminster-Canterbury, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Senior Options delivers turnkey solutions for home health, hospice services and continuum management.
“Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio will continue to own and operate our home health agency,” said Laura Voth, CEO. “Senior Options’ back office support services will provide efficiencies and expertise, allowing us to grow our home health business while incorporating strong quality management and oversight.”
With offices located on the Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio (MHCO) main campus, Mennonite Home Health & Senior Services has been providing skilled nursing services, occupational, physical and speech therapy and medication management for more than 20 years.
The agency can also support those who live at home by offering personal care, meal preparation, errands and housekeeping. The service area includes Allen, Hancock, Hardin, Putnam and Wyandot Counties.
Dawn D. Schulte, RN, recently joined MHCO as director of home health, and will work with Senior Options in delivering clinical services as well as documentation and office management.
A resident of Pandora, Schulte is a member of the Pandora-Gilboa Local Schools Board of Education and former nurse manager of the Bluffton office of Pandora Family Physicians.
