Bluffton has missed 6 school days; calamity limit is 5
Here’s the Bluffton school’s calamity days update from Greg Denecker, superintendent:
Bluffton has missed 6 days and its limit is 5 calamity days. So, the first make- up day is President's Day, on Monday, Feb. 18.
If Bluffton misses another day between now and spring break, which is Thursday to Monday, April 18 to 22, Bluffton will have its next make up day on Thursday, April 18.
If Bluffton has more than 7 calamity days, the school will add a day at the end of the year starting with Thursday, May 30, as a make-up day.
The Monday following Easter on April 22, will not be a school make-up day, even if Bluffton continues having calamity days.
