First community spring clean up Saturday
Ready for spring?
Good, because a Bluffton Spring Clean Up is planned for Saturday morning, according to Joy Stemen, organizer of the event.
If you are interested in helping out, here’s what you need to know:
Volunteers will gather at the Twisted Whisk at 8 a.m., Saturday, March 23.
“From the Twisted Whisk we will break into groups, depending on the number of volunteers,” she said.
“The volunteers will go to different locations around town to begin to pick up trash and litter.”
Stemen added that volunteers should bring gloves and wear bright-colored clothes. Trash bags will be provided. She said that children are welcome to participate so long as they are accompanied by an adult.
Areas to be cleaned:
1 - Bentley Road overpass
2 - State Route 103
3 - State Route 103 overpass
4 4 Near Buckeye Park
