"No one fights alone" fundraiser for SumiRiko-Ohio associate May 4
Six months ago, Tony Adams, Ada resident and a 19-year associate at SRK-Ohio (SumiRiko Ohio), Bluffton, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer.
During the last six month he has undergone treatment, including chemotherapy and radiation.
While fighting cancer he has had multiple trips in and out of hospitals combating the side effects of his cancer treatment.
Tony’s treatment plan is on-going for the next two years.
To assist in paying for is astronomical bills, a public event in his support is planned in early May.
A “No one fights alone fundraiser,” in support of Adams takes place from 3 to 10 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at the Ada VFW Post 9381, at 2147 State Route 235, Ada.
According to volunteers putting on the event, “Everyone will be enjoying food, drinks, music, karaoke and fellowship, all the while raising money.”
The event will include a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, wine cork and pull, bake sale and a barbecue chicken dinner.
Dinner tickets are $10. Donations can be made to “No One Fights Alone,” at Quest Federal Credit Union, Ada.
