Bluffton chamber members busy this spring
Several Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce members have events planned this spring.
Here are current events from the chamber:
PROMOCARES NOMINATIONS
PromoHits! is taking nominations for their PromoCares charitable giving program using this form or by visiting www.promohitsltd.com. One charity each from the Bluffton, Lima, Findlay and Toledo communities will be chosen. Online nominations will be accepted through May 17.
BLUFFTON CENTER FOR ENTREPRENEURS
Brendon Matthews of First National Bank will lead a discussion on small business loans on May 23. This Brown Bag Discussion will take place at noon in the 3rd floor conference room of Bluffton Town Hall, 154 N. Main St. Please RSVP to assist with setup. Find The BCE on Facebook.
BIKE RODEO
Officer Hope Hannah of the Bluffton Police Department, Bike Crazy LLC, and Bluffton Pediatrics will host a bike rodeo from 8 to 11 a.m., Saturday, May 18, at the Buckeye park.
The event for youth will include bike riding safety skills, free helmets (limited quantity) and prize drawings.
BLUFFTON PEDIATRICS OPEN HOUSE
Beth Bish, a certified nurse practitioner specializing in pediatric primary care, will hold an open house at her new offices at 122 N Jackson St, Bluffton, following the June 14 chamber breakfast. Stop by after 8:30 a.m. to say hello and see their new facility. Find Bluffton Pediatrics at their website and Facebook.
MEMORIAL DAY PARADE
Bluffton's Memorial Day parade is Monday, May 27. The parade forms at 9:15 a.m at town hall and starts at 9:30 a.m. The Bluffton American Legion Post 382 chicken barbecue will be held at the Citizens National Bank parking lot from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets are $8.50 each.
AMERICAN LEGION GOLF OUTING
American Legion Post 382 will hold the 10th annual charitable golf scramble on Saturday, June 1, at Bluffton Golf Course. Last year the Legion supported 16 non-profit organizations and distributed over $8,500 in contributions.
FESTIVAL OF WHEELS
The 52nd annual Bluffton Festival of Wheels will be held on Friday, Jun 14. Held on Main St. and College Ave, parking for participating cars begins at 2 p.m. Judging takes place at 5 p.m. and trophies are awarded at 7:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit the charity work of the Bluffton Lions. RIDE TO REMEMBER
Registration is open for the July 20 Ride to Remember, a ride that builds more bike paths in Bluffton. Ride anywhere from 2 to 112 miles on beautiful, flat roads through villages and farmland. Register here. This is a program of the Bluffton Lions Foundation.
