Beaverdam Bunch met this week
The Beaverdam Bunch held a 4-H meeting this past Monday, June 3. The group discussed old business. Fair entries are due Monday, July 1. The group needs to start thinking about ideas for our booth.
Congratulations to Mallory Hardesty and Kaitlin Thurmond for staying with us until they graduated this year.
Many demonstrations were presented at this meeting. Wilson Steiner talked about his project, solid fuel model rockets, and the parts of the rockets. Ethan Smith has his project on Focus on Photography and he explained to us the proper ways to take a photo. Celia Smith has an interesting project over mental health. Celia taught us ways we could manage stress. Avery Smith has a project called snack attack. For her demonstration she made us one of her recipes in the book and showed us how simple it was. Last but not least was Jacob Dawson’s demonstration. He is doing egg production for this year's project; he showed the group the different sizes in eggs and which groups these eggs belong.
