Small scale beekeeping
Join Transition Bluffton and Jon Tuttle for a field presentation on small scale beekeeping. We will meet Tuesday, June 18, at 7 p.m. at Little Riley Creek, Jon and Amanda’s organic farm.
The farm is located at 9255 Lugabill Road, about three miles south of Bluffton. Tuttle will give a primer on beekeeping basics, including hive location and equipment.
There will be time for questions and answers. This will be a good demonstration of how we can respond to the declining bee population throughout the country.
This event is sponsored by Transition Bluffton and open to the public, at no charge. It is one of many events hosted by Transition Bluffton. To learn more about future events, visit TransitionBluffton.org.
