Lions in busy recycling mode
Bluffton Lions Club has had a busy recyclling year.
According to the June club newsletter here are the recycling stats:
• Hearing aids – 85 pairs went to Findlay to be refurbished collected by Ed Yeager
• Batteries – 1,122 pounds sold to Diller's Recycling, Pandora, collected by Brandon Matthews
• Ink cartridges – approximately 1,200 taken to Staples, Findlay, collected by Arliss Plaugher
• Used glasses – 9,433 went to the VOSH sorting center collected by Arliss Plaugher
• Phones – 159 sold to be recycled collected by Ed Yeager
• Aluminum cans – 100 pounds sold to Diller's, Pandora, collected by Arliss Plaugher
•Flags – approximately 450 taken by Dennis Morrison for disposal.
