PromoCares Program announces support for 4 new charities
PromoHits Ltd., Bluffton, announced the four charities to benefit from PromoCares Program from July to December, according to Melinda Bowen.
The company will donate 5% of its total product sales this year to local charities through itthe initiative.
Bowden narrowed down public nominations for local charities to benefit from the program July-December. The public was encouraged to vote.
“We had a ton of healthy competition among the nominees and I’m really excited to see so many people who were interested in being involved with our program,” said Bowden. One winner from each of the main regions PromoHits serves: Bluffton, Lima, Findlay and Toledo, was named.
Winning charities Include:
Bluffton
• Bluffton for Hope – The goal of Bluffton for Hope is to raise money to help find a cure for cancer, honor lives lost and celebrate survivors.
Lima
• Equestrian Therapy Program - The program, provides therapeutic horseback riding lessons for the disabled in northwest Ohio. The horses and volunteers help create new abilities while challenging disabilities.
Findlay
• Pierce’s Crew Foundation –Pierce’s Crew assists special needs families with the cost of therapies and programs to help enrich and improve lives.This organization and its scholarship process were created by a mom who wanted to help other special needs families like hers.
Toledo
• Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Ohio Inc. - The program enriches the lives of children by providing comfort, care and support to families from northwest Ohio, southeast Michigan and beyond. It provides a home-away-from-home for families who travel to Toledo for their children’s medical care.
