Watch out for the bikes on Saturday - and there's still time to register
Online registration is open through Friday for Bluffton’s Fifth Annual Ride to Remember.
On-site registration will be available the morning of the event, Saturday, July 20, at Bluffton Family Recreation (BFR). Individual adult registration is $30 and includes a swag bag with items from local merchants, an $8 lunch coupon and free swimming at BFR. Visit ridetoremember.net to register.
Riders have their choice of four loops, ranging from 2 miles to the 112-mile Triplett Challenge. Those riding 100 or more miles may start together at 7 a.m., while an optional mass start for other riders is scheduled for 8 a.m.
Featured this year is a Parts Swap and riders are encouraged to bring accessories, parts and apparel that they no longer need. A limited number of commemorative T-shirts will be for sale at the event for $20. Shirts are also available online.
Ride to Remember organizers have prepared for this weekend’s predicted high temperatures. Plenty of water and ice will be provided with swimming and showers available at the end of the ride. Rest stops are located along the longer loops.
Ride to Remember is a program of the Bluffton Lion’s Foundation and proceeds benefit the Bluffton Pathways Project.
