Some back-to-school details
As the clock ticks toward the opening day of school on Monday, Aug. 26, here are some back-to-school details from the school website.
All school offices are open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Friday. Both the Jackson Street and College Avenue entrances are open at Bluffton High School.
Schedule pick up and school pictures will be taken on Friday, Aug. 16, and Monday, Aug. 19, at the middle school and high school buildings.
A packet of information, including the fee card and picture envelope, was mailed on Friday.
Students must make a payment on school fees to receive their schedules. Students can “meet the teacher” on Wednesday, Aug. 21, on the following schedule:
• High school, 7-8 p.m.
• Middle school, 6-7 p.m.
• Elementary, 5-6 p.m.
Student’s who purchase a $25 “Student Pass,” which gets them into 10 home sporting events will receive a free super fan t-shirt. You can purchase the student passes in the middle school or high school office.
Fall sports passes/reserved football tickets/student passes grandparent passes can be purchased in the middle school office on Wednesday, Aug. 14, from 6-7:30 p.m. or Wednesday, Aug. 21, from 5-7:30 p.m.
Passes will also be sold during “meet the teacher” on Aug. 21. Watch the Icon for more back to school information this week.
