Health Department teen immunization Wednesday
Allen County Public Health will be hosting a special teen immunization clinic on Wednesday, Aug. 21 from 2 – 5 p.m. The clinic will be for pre-teens and teens entering grades 7 through 12 only. All required school vaccines will be offered as well as recommended vaccines.
Allen County Public Health follows the Centers for Disease Control Recommended Immunization Schedule for all Vaccines. ACPH participates in the Vaccine for Children, or VCF, Program. VCF-eligible youth will not be turned away due to inability to pay. Most private insurances also cover vaccines.
Walk-ins will be accepted, but appointments are preferred. Please call Allen Public Health at 419-228-4457 to schedule an appointment. If a child is under the age of 18 a parent or guardian must accompany them.
Immunization records may also be obtained at the time immunizations are given. To request a record at another time, please call 419-228-4457 and arrange for a time to pick-up your record. Records cannot be mailed, faxed or emailed
