BLUFFTON - Host Bluffton whitewashed visiting Bath 2-0 in non-league boys soccer action Saturday afternoon.

The Pirates improved to 6-1 with their fourth straight victory. Three of those wins came via shutouts as Bluffton has outscored its opposition 20-1 during that span.

The game was scoreless at halftime, but Andrew Lovett tallied two minutes into the second half to give Bluffton a 1-0 lead.

Pirate Jonathan Schriner netted an insurance goal in the 65th minute to provide the final margin of victory.

Bluffton put 12 of its 23 shots on goal while limiting Bath to just four shots, two of which were on goal.

Bath had to make eight saves compared to just two by the Pirates.

Bluffton (2-0 NWC) hosts Northwest Conference foe Lincolnview (1-4, 0-1 NWC) Sept. 10 at 7:15 p.m.
