Bluffton to introduce tailgating before home football games
The President’s Office at Bluffton University invites the community to join Beaver Tail-Gating before this week’s game against Franklin College on Saturday, Sept. 21. Tailgating starts at 10 a.m., with the game following at 1:30 p.m.
Tailgating tents have already been sold, but all guests are welcome to interact in the tailgating area, play cornhole and enjoy snacks.
“Athletics is an important part of the academic experience at Bluffton University,” said Phill Talavinia, interim vice president for student life and director of athletics. “We hope that this new opportunity allows for fun, fellowship and the chance to meet new people while supporting our student-athletes.”
Tickets to home football games at Salzman Stadium are $6 for adults, $5 for senior citizens over 60, $3 for youth and free for children 5 and under. Admission for Bluffton University students, faculty and staff is free with their Bluffton ID.
