It's Bluffton's Fall Festival weekend
The Bluffton community’s 16th annual Fall Festival, with many family-oriented activities, takes place throughout the community on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
New this year, Bluffton Family Recreation will host a “Kickoff Event” on Friday, Sept. 27, beginning at 5 p.m.
The primary locations of festivities include:
Mennonite Memorial Home
Maple Crest
Schumacher Homestead (Swiss Community Historical Society)
Bluffton Hospital
Downtown Bluffton (Mercy Health Bluffton Family Practice
and the Farmer’s Market)
BFR (Friday evening)
Free accessible bus transportation is provided between many locations by Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio. All events are free unless otherwise noted, and parking is available at all locations. More details can be found below and at blufftonfallfestival.com

Silent auction from Monday, September 23 until noon on Saturday, Sept. 28 ($)
Bake Sale will be held Sept. 27 and 28, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. ($), MHCO Service Group Food Tent ($), Crafts with Hilty Preschool and Child Care, S’mores with Bluffton/Pandora Campus Life, M&R Plumbing Putt-Putt, Kiddie Train, Face Painting ($5), Straw Dig, Fun Photo Booth, Maple Syrup ($), Lawn Jenga
Maple Crest Senior Living Village, 700 Maple Crest Ct.
10th annual antique tractor show, Music by The Standard Time Jazz Quintet, 11 – 11:45 a.m. and 1 – 1:45 p.m., Kiddie tractor pull, registration 12:30-1 p.m., pull starts 1 p.m., Fishing derby (bait and poles provided), 2-3 p.m., Food for sale, Wooden tractors/toys for sale.
Bluffton Hospital, 139 Garau St.
Inflatables for kids, train rides, pumpkin decorating, complimentary Kona Ice Treats, refreshments and more.
Swiss Community Historical Society
(Schumacher Homestead), 8350 Bixel Road
Bluffton Scrap Artist’s Quilt Show ($ Quilt Raffle at 3 p.m.), Farm Animals, straw bale maze, kid’s games and activities, wagon rides, horse plowing, blacksmithing, corn-shelling, old-style corn harvesting and shocking, bread making, needlecrafts, popcorn popping, woodworking, demonstrations, and food for sale ($)
Downtown Bluffton
A Farmers’ Market takes place from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the Citizens National Bank (102 S. Main) parking lot
Face painting and balloon animals will be available at Mercy Health Bluffton Family Practice (204 N. Main)
The downtown bus stop will be located by the town hall (154 N. Main)
BFR Sports and Fitness, 215 Snider Road
(All events at BFR take place Friday, Sept. 27)
Food trucks and pipegun wars at 5 p.m., Movie on the Lawn “Coco” at 7:30 p.m.
