ODOT proposing two projects for 2020 in Beaverdam and Lafayette
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 1, in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) seeks public comments regarding two proposed projects in the Icon viewership area.
Beaverdam sidewalks – ODOT, in partnership with the village of Beaverdam, is proposing to construct ADA compliant sidewalks and curb ramps within the village of Beaverdam.
Sidewalks will be installed in various locations along East Main Street, West Street, East Pearl Street, Mill Street, Prospect Street, and Lima Street.
Lafayette sidewalks – The village of Lafayette, in partnership with ODOT, is proposing to construct Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant sidewalks and curb ramps in the village of Lafayette.
Sidewalks will be replaced or constructed along the south side of Main Street from High Street to the junction with Sugar Street, and along Sugar Street from High Street to the junction with Main Street.
Construction is anticipated to begin in the summer of 2020.
