Transportation Improvement Program meeting Friday morning
Members of the Lima-Allen County Regional Planning Commission and the Village of Bluffton will meet at 7:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, on the first floor of the town hall, 154 N. Main St., according to Jesse Blackburn, village administrator.
He told The Icon that the purpose of the meeting is to discuss the Transportation Improvements Program (TIP).
On March 2015, the village passed a resolution in support of the Lima-Allen County Regional Planning Commission to serve as the Metropolitan Planning Organization for the county.
The resolution stated that the village agrees to participate in the transportation planning process of the MPO.
And, the village agreed to support the public involvement process relating to the development and adoption of MPO's long-range transportation plan and its Transortation Improvement Program.
