Jefferson Street is open for business. The Phase I, from Main to the railroad track, includes curbs, sidewalks, (and sidewalks on the bridge), plus a safer crossing on both sides of the railroad. There's also a new bridge over Riley and a cleaned-up view of the National Quarry. Next year's Phase II takes the project from the railroad to the county line.
