Matt Wood named president of Findlay CNB office
Citizens National Bank (CNB) has named Matt Wood, senior vice president/city president of its Findlay office, announced Michael Romey, this week.
In addition to being a commercial/ag lender, Wood also oversees profitability of the branch, and is responsible for growing the Findlay office’s loan and deposit totals and monitor market trends.
With nearly 20 years’ experience in commercial and agricultural lending, Wood has worked with business and farm customers in Hancock, Wood, Seneca, Wyandot, Morrow and Franklin counties.
Darrell Buroker, SVP chief of lending at CNB said, “We’re thrilled to have Matt join our team. His years of experience and proven effectiveness as a banker will truly be an asset to the leadership of our Findlay office.”
Wood holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Bowling Green State University. He later attended the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin, and the Graduate Commercial Lending School at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
He is a member of the Findlay Morning Rotary Club and has volunteered for many local charitable events. Matt and his wife, Lisa, reside in Findlay.
With offices in Bluffton, Celina, Defiance, Elida, Findlay, Lima, Springfield, Van Wert and Toledo, Citizens National Bank has assets totaling more than $840 million and has been serving the communities of West Central Ohio since 1920.
