Village accepting bids on two farm cash lease properties
Jesse Blackburn, village administrator, announced that the village is accepting sealed bids on two of its properties. Each bid is a three-year farm cash lease.
Details follow:
Village council are receiving sealed bids for a 3-year farm cash lease for agricultural use at town hall, 154 N. Main St., P.O. Box 63, until 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 27. The bids are for the following properties:
- property known as the Bluffton Airport, located on St. Rt. 103, Twp. Rd 51, County Line Rd, and Twp. Road 29. The tillable land consists of approximately 72.134 acres.
- property known as the Stager Well Field Farmland, located at 809 S. Main St., between Main and the Norfolk & Southern Railroad. It consists of approximately 15.83 tillable acres.
Copies for either of the farm cash leases may be obtained at town hall.
The bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope and labeled with which property the land being bid on.
Successful bidder must comply with all provisions of the lease agreement. The council reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
