Berne, Ind. - The Bluffton Swim Club competed at the South Adams Invitational meet Saturday at South Adams High School in Berne, Indiana. 

Freshman Riley Verb won the 200 individual medley and the 100 backstroke races to lead BSC.

The Bluffton girls swimmers finished sixth out of eight schools, while the BSC boys came in fifth. In the combined team standings, Bluffton ended up sixth.

Allison Diller came in fourth in the 200 IM and sixth in the 100 breaststroke to post the top Bluffton girls individual finishes.

South Adams edged Adams Central for the boys team title, 256-254. St. Marys was a close third with 248 points.

New Bremen won the girls team crown with 407 points to easily out-distance second-place Ft. Recovery (274) and third-place South Adams (153).

New Bremen also finished first in the boys/girls combined team standings with 499 points. South Adams (409) came in second while Adams Central was right behind in third (406).
