Two groups with local ties perform Jan. 17
The next Bluffton Town Hall concert is at 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 17, with performances from two bands, according to Wendy Chappell-Dick.
Performing is Honeytown featuring Tim Shue, Nate Gundy, Kevin Himes and Goby Hazlett.
Chappel-Dick describes the group as: "A fun and upbeat four-piece group of talented musicians from Kidron.
"The band's eclectic musical mix of original compositions, unexpected arrangements and their tightly-blended harmonies have won them a fan base all over the midwest. Their varied instrumentation ranging from fiddle to banjo, washboard to bass ukulele, accordion to percussive trash cans takes their audiences by pleasant surprise."
The opening group to perform is Cloud of Witnesses, which is the latest project from Chappell-Dick and Phil Gratz. They play Folk rock, country and pop.
The concert is free and open to the public and takes place in the third floor of the Bluffton town hall, 154 N. Main St.
