Urologic oncology services now available at Bluffton Hospital
A wide range of urology services are now available at Bluffton Hospital through Blanchard Valley Urology Associates, a division of Blanchard Valley Health System.
The physicians are now accepting new patents in Bluffton.
Services include laparoscopic and robotic surgery, treatment of kidney stones, overactive bladder, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and prostate cancer.
Also, through Urology Associates, the team will provide services in elevated prostate-specific antigen (PSA), hematuria, renal masses/cysts, bladder masses, testicular masses, and prostate and other urologic cancers.
Kelly Shroll, president of Blanchard Valley Medical Practices, said, “We are excited to have our urology experts provide oncology services in Bluffton and the surrounding area.
“It is our mission to provide the highest level of care, close to home, so that patients will no longer need to travel.”
George Adam, M.D., is the lead physician for urology services. Board certified by the American Board of Urology, he is a graduate of Southern Illinois University and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Joshua Ebel, M.D., is the lead physician for urologic oncology services. He brings skills in robotic urologic surgery.
Dr. Ebel completed undergraduate studies at Miami University before pursuing his medical degree, surgical internship and urology residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and The James Cancer Hospital.
